SDG Puppy Academy
We know that bringing home a new puppy is exciting—but we also understand that not everyone has the time or experience to start training right away. In some cases, this challenge can even prevent families from getting the puppy they truly want. That’s why we created the SDG Puppy Academy—an extended training program designed to give select puppies a strong foundation in basic commands, making the transition to their new home smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.
Our academy-trained puppies receive the same love and care as all of our dogs. They are raised in our home as part of our family, ensuring they experience a natural, social environment before joining yours. This approach helps ease the transition, so they won’t feel like they’re leaving behind a family—they’ll simply be gaining a new one.
At SDG Goldens, early socialization and training are a priority for all of our puppies. From birth, they are raised using Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Early Scent Introduction (ESI), and the Puppy Culture training program, setting them up for success in their future training. Puppies enrolled in our SDG Puppy Academy continue their education with positive reinforcement-based training, which builds confidence and fosters a strong desire to please their owners.

Basic Puppy Training (8 to 12 weeks) $1350
Our Basic Puppy Training Program is designed to establish a strong foundation for your puppy’s behavior and training. Through daily training sessions and weekly socialization outings, we help your puppy learn essential skills that make the transition to their new home smoother. While this program provides a great start, continued training at home is necessary to reinforce and maintain these skills as your puppy grows.

​​​*Note: While we begin potty training early, puppies cannot be fully house-trained until they reach maturity (approximately 6 to 8 months old). However, by the end of this program, accidents should be minimal with proper consistency at home.
